Unique Design Studio does not collect, transmit or sell any personal
information. It makes no network requests and works entirely offline inside
your browser.
What this policy covers
This policy applies to the Unique Design Studio browser extension for Google
Chrome and Microsoft Edge (“the extension”). It explains what the extension
stores, why, and what it does not do.
Information we collect
None. The extension collects no personally identifiable
information, no authentication information, no location data, no health or
financial information, no personal communications, and no web browsing
activity. Nothing is transmitted to the developer or to any third party,
because the extension makes no network requests of any kind.
Information stored on your own device
The extension uses Chrome’s local storage API for two purposes. This data
never leaves your computer and is not accessible to the developer:
The tab identifier of the open studio tab. Stored in
session storage so that clicking the toolbar icon focuses the tab you
already have open instead of creating duplicates. It is discarded when the
browser closes.
Your last-used settings. The industry, output size,
template family and colour palette you selected, the state of the
checkboxes, your light or dark interface preference, and a short list of
recently generated design signatures so the generator can avoid repeating
itself.
Permissions
The extension requests a single permission, storage, used only
for the purposes described above. It requests no host permissions, so it has
no ability to read the pages you visit, your browsing history, bookmarks,
downloads, cookies or identity.
What the extension does not do
It does not read, record or transmit the pages you visit.
It makes no network requests. There is no server, no analytics, no telemetry, no crash reporting and no advertising.
It loads no remote code. Every file it executes ships inside the extension package.
It does not sell or transfer any data to third parties, because it holds no such data.
It does not use or transfer data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.
Files you create
Designs you export are written directly to your computer through Chrome’s
normal download mechanism. They are never uploaded anywhere and the developer
never sees them.
Children’s privacy
The extension collects no data from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version will be published at this same
address with an updated date at the top.
